Ingredients:1 cups all-purpose flour1 cups granulated sugar1/2 cup cocoa powder1 tsp vanilla essence1 tsp Baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 cup warm milk1/2 cup melted butter2 eggs.
Chocolate Buttercream Frosting:4-ounce quality semi-sweet chocolate bars1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
Recipe:
Step1: In a bowl mix all the dry Ingredients flour, sugar, cocoa powder baking powder and baking soda. Step2: Take another bowl, beat eggs until fluffy, and add vanilla and butter beat well until creamy texture.
Step3: Now add dry ingredients slowly into the eggs and butter batter and fold with the help of specula, Add warm milk and mix well.
Step4: Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350 F (176 C) until when you poke the center with a toothpick it comes out clean.
Step5: Allow the cake to cool on the rack for around 10 to 15 minutes prior to icing.
Chocolate Frosting:
In a metal bowl take semi-sweet chocolate finely chopped and melt it in double boiler.
Once the chocolate melts add the heavy cream and beat until thick creamy texture.
